Abbie & Madi: All Love Is Celebrated Here
A Colorful Celebration | September 5, 2026
We have been smiling since Saturday, and we do not plan on stopping anytime soon.
This past weekend, The Stacy Mansion had the absolute honor and joy of hosting our first same-sex wedding — and Abbie and Madi brought every single bit of magic, color, personality, and love you could possibly fit into one beautiful day.
Where Do We Even Begin
Fourteen bridal party members who showed up and showed out. A ring bearer who happened to be the cutest lil bear. A flower boy who absolutely nailed his moment. Two signature drinks that disappeared at a very respectable pace. A taco truck, because Abbie and Madi clearly have excellent taste. Heart-shaped churros that we are still thinking about. A rainbow cake that was almost too beautiful to cut. And at the end of the night — light sabers on the dance floor. Because of course.
After a week of uncertain weather, the sky cleared and gave these two the most beautiful day it possibly could. Almost like it knew.
A Labor of Love, Built by Hand
One of the most stunning elements of the day was the fresh floral swag draped across the wedding arch — and it did not come from a florist. It came from Kelly and Julie, Abbie's aunt and mom, two women who showed up with patience and love to create something that gorgeous.
A labor of love does not even begin to cover it. Fresh florals are unforgiving — they have to be handled carefully, assembled thoughtfully, and brought together with the kind of steady hands and calm determination that only someone who really loves the person they're doing it for can sustain. The result was absolutely fabulous.
Kelly and Julie, we see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful that Abbie and Madi have women like you in their corner who will literally build something beautiful from scratch just to make their day more perfect. That is love in its most tangible form, and it was an honor to witness it on our arch.
All Love Is Celebrated Here
This is exactly what we mean when we say all love is celebrated here. Every couple. Every story. Every detail that makes a wedding unmistakably and completely yours.
Abbie and Madi, thank you for choosing The Stacy Mansion for your day, for letting us be part of your story, and for reminding us why we built this place in the first place.
"DREAM wedding weekend | 5 stars doesn’t capture how amazing our wedding and stay at the Stacy Mansion were. The property and home are immaculate. It felt like staying in a very clean hotel but with the charm of a 19th century home. The three sisters were incredible with preparing for and executing our wedding. They were diligent, kind, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our day was perfect. We have cherished having the ability to spend the entire weekend at our venue. There was plenty of space for a large bridal party to get ready and other wedding preparations to take place. The food was also INCREDIBLE! Having a venue that was LGBTQ friendly was important to us, and we felt not only accepted but celebrated in every moment of our stay. The Stacy ladies are the dream team!!!" — Abbie
