Emily & Landon: Big Love, Small Guest List

The Elegant Affair | June 24, 2026

After joining some Michigan bridal groups on social media and quickly learning that winter is when a lot of couples start planning after getting engaged over the holidays, we met Emily — who was looking for a small, intimate wedding with her and her fiancé's immediate families. In January of 2026, we booked our second wedding: big love, in a smaller setting, exactly the kind of celebration our property was made for.

Here's Emily's story, in her own words.

Supported From the Start

Choosing the Stacy Mansion for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. From the beginning, Serena and the other Stacy Sisters made me feel incredibly supported and confident that everything would come together. Serena helped me work through so many planning details, even the little things like figuring out tablecloth covers, and I always felt like I had someone knowledgeable and caring in my corner.

More Than a Weekend Together

The mansion itself is absolutely beautiful, but what made the experience so special was being able to stay there with our family for several nights. Everyone was comfortable, the rooms were wonderful, and our family still talks about how much they'd love to return someday. Instead of spending only one afternoon together, we were able to share meals, relax, laugh, and truly enjoy several days as a family. The breakfasts were fantastic, the nightcap cookies cannot be beat, and all of the extra care we received made us feel so welcome.

A Day That Felt Effortless

Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be. Having the additional event space to get ready in made the morning feel spacious, calm, and relaxed. When bad weather forced us to change our plans several times, the sisters were flexible, patient, and willing to work with us so the day could still feel beautiful and seamless.

More Than a Venue

I also loved getting to know the sisters and learning more about their story. The care they've put into the mansion can be felt everywhere. It is more than a beautiful venue — it's a warm, memorable experience created by people who genuinely care about the families celebrating there.

"Beautiful venue, beautiful people, beautiful experience. We will always be grateful that the Stacy Mansion was part of our wedding." — Emily
