From rescued hives to golden goodness. This honey has quite a history.
When renovations began at The Stacy Mansion, an unexpected SOS revealed a massive colony of bees that had been living deep within the mansion’s walls for many years. Happy, hidden, and very much at home, they were suddenly disrupted by new life moving in.
Rather than destroying the hive, we chose a different path — one rooted in stewardship and respect. Over several weeks, with the help of an experienced beekeeper, early-morning stakeouts, ultraviolet sleuthing, ladders, bee suits, and a carefully placed lure box, the bees were gently coaxed out of the walls and safely relocated.
In a moment that still feels like magic, the queen was found — golden, gorgeous, and leading her colony willingly into their new home. Even more astonishing, the rescue resulted in two thriving hives, not one.
Today, those bees are living their best lives on a nearby farm — and this raw honey is part of their incredible origin story. Some of the honey in this very jar was once stored inside the walls of The Stacy Mansion itself, carried out by the bees during the rescue and preserved through careful harvesting.
Unfiltered, raw, and harvested in limited quantity, The Stacy Bees Raw Honey is a true one-of-a-kind offering — a sweet reminder that sometimes the most beautiful things come from choosing care over convenience.
