My Dearest Readers,
As December sweeps her frosted skirts across Tecumseh and The Stacy Mansion dons her most radiant holiday attire, I find myself simply bursting with updates, delights, and merriments from the past two months. Let us begin, shall we?
Autumn Into Winter at The Stacy
The Mansion has been positively alive with celebration, connection, and joyful commotion. In the last stretch of weeks, our beloved home welcomed 39 overnight stays, each bringing its own sparkle:
5 anniversaries, proving love ages as gracefully as the Mansion herself
2 birthdays, complete with wishes and wonder
3 girls’ nights, fueled by laughter, late-night chatter, and a dash of mischief
3 sixtieth class reunions, where nostalgia wafted through the halls like vintage perfume
3 wedding nights, where happily-ever-afters began under our historic roof
2 Appleumpkin Festival getaways, reminding us that autumn in Tecumseh remains unmatched
And as if that weren’t enough to keep our hearts warm, we opened our doors for 7 special events, each leaving its own imprint on our story:
A romantic engagement party — a one-night full-house celebration of “Yes!”
A jubilant bridal party sleepover — one-night, and morning of all-giggles, all-glam
A tender memorial dinner — honoring a life and gathering loved ones close
A business breakfast club meeting — where ideas percolated as quickly as the coffee
A lively girls’ night out — filled with friendship and festive cheer
A charming baby shower — pastel decorations and tiny socks aplenty
A surprise birthday soirée — where one lucky guest’s jaw truly dropped
All together, we’ve welcomed 290+ guests from across Michigan and beyond. The Stacy Mansion is becoming quite the destination, if I do say so myself.
And finally…
We celebrated our very first sold-out weekend.
The owners danced in the kitchen. I’m told there may have been a celebratory scone.
